  FISHING     FISHING     FISHING    FISHING

For those of you who are dedicated, die -hard fishermen (or fisherwomen) and enjoy fishing in Mexico, La Paz and the East Cape. I know SeaFortuna is the best boat for you.

This is the story of;
                                           The Four Amigos
The first real fishing successful charter we had, was with four guys from San Diego in the middle of  November. Before that, two of them came down in August, and  took out SeaScape  my  Morgan 41’ sailboat with Rafael(my righthand man) as a skipper. I find it hard to believe, but one of the  fish they caught was a MARLIN !!  Off of a sailboat with no bait tank and slow!   Sooo, they came back in the middle of November, with two of their fishing buddys who are also serious fishermen and went south to Cerralvo with my regular skipper, Raul and caught about 100 fish. They brought their own rods, and took all of mine off!  They plan on coming back twice a year at least, the last week of August and the last week of October.

They highly recommend Raul as the skipper.  He also has four Pangas for fishing with 90hpr Hondas.  They qualify to skipper SeaFortuna on their own, but they told me, that will always use Raul, because of his knowledge of where the fish are, skill in running SeaFortuna and being able to devote all of their energy to fishing.. They also enjoyed having Raul around as he is such a great person (I have known Raul at least 10 years) and enjoy his company.

I refer to them as “The Four Amigos” as I took them to my favorite restaurant here in La Paz for breakfast.  Antonio , the waiter is also an artist, and did the drawings, as they had breakfast . You will see the drawings of them in one of the slides.

Some of the reasons for chartering SeaFortuna they cited were very interesting, besides the obvious. They could go farther out than a panga, start ealier  and stay for a longer time .They gave me examples of the panga fishermen, having you catch a couple of fish and wanting to go back right away, and also, how it worked out to be less costly for them figuring hotel rooms etc.

 They have allowed me permission to put their names and phone numbers and email addresses for you to independently call or email them if you would like:

As SeaFortuna has more trips, especially fishing, we will tell you more.  Unfortunately the best fishing here is in the summer time, but the water is clearer, we have a swimming step, a ladder to the swim step, a swim ladder and .a shower on the stern. But  best of all we have a Webasco 16,000 BTU air conditioning unit and fans through out the boat .

THE QUESTION IS; WHEN ARE YOU COMING TO HAVE THE FISHING TRIP OF A LIFE TIME  ????
